Ten Top Action Steps I Take To Build My Internet Business
These are the ACTION steps I take to grow rich on line. Please feel free to do the same if you desire.
1. Choose Affiliate Products I want to promote. (I use the ones I have tried personally and/or which seem really interesting from Clickbank and have a high conversion rate).
2. Blog consistently to generate traffic and write articles about these affiliate products, but also offer content. Don’t just have your blog be about selling stuff to people. Provide value and content. Write and submit articles to ezines.
3. Make friends and relationships on twitter and every 7th post or so, mention a great product with the link. Also provide some free stuff.
4. Make videos about my affiliate products and why I like them, what’s so great about them, limitations, etc. and provide my affiliate link for anyone who is interested to purchase the products.
5. Continue to build my list and use my auto responder series to add content to people and to promote my affiliate products for people to purchase. Remember, you are doing someone a favor if you have a great product that will help bring them to the next level. Provide guarantees and cancellations if people do not like the product.
6. Build niche websites (2 per month) on a continuous basis to get more opportunity to make money on line. Remember, a website does not need as much attention as a blog, except for helping drive traffic to it. Build a list for each niche.
7. Continue to implement what I know to do, rather than just keep learning things. Once I know how to do something, it is more important that I am in ACTION with regard to what I already know, rather than to keep learning new things. At first I was spending 80% of my time learning and 20% of my time implementing what I learned. Now, I switched that up and spend 80% of my time creating what I know I can do and 20% of my time learning new things. From time to time I can vary that 60%/40%, depending what is going on, but in the last few months I have learned so much, it’s time for me to IMPLEMENT rather than keep learning. If you are just beginning you may need to spend more time learning like I had to do, but measure your time percentage and try to stick to that so you don’t get off course, so that you can start to generate an income.
8. I follow blueprint strategies from courses I have purchased, like the Listbuilding Club, Mark Joiner and Social Media Traffic Blueprint.
9. When I get stuck or stopped, for whatever reason, I use the ticket system and ask for help. In the next 24 hrs, I will have either figured it out for myself or gotten a response from the support team to help me. Usually, I find the answer myself by just asking the question, leaving it alone for a while, and looking at it again a bit later. I don’t know how that happens, but it’s like magic.
10. I am constantly thinking about the products I want to create and when the time is right, I will create them. I am the type of person who can think about something for months and seemingly overnight create it. My professor from my M.Ed. was very surprised by how I created my thesis at the last minute, as I had nothing down on paper, except data from the research I did. In the last 3 weeks I put the whole thesis down on paper, and one professor said, “seemingly out of a hat”. People work in different ways; find the way that most suits you.
I realize these 10 action steps may have 100 or so tiny action steps to go with each one, but that is the way it is. It is good to get a big picture of things, which is a direction to go in, rather than be lost in the minute details.
