Weather you are working for somebody else or for yourself, keep on keeping on. Brainstorm ideas on how to gain more wealth. Perhaps you can start a side job? You know what you have to do, now do it. Hire somebody else to help you if you need to move your business forward. Stop being stopped by taking massive action in your business. Jot down 10 things you can accomplish right now and work on it. Possibly, you can increase your sales if you are in sales. No matter what you are doing, you can increase your services and add more value to people’s lives.

Take a look where you may be wasting time and stop wasting time. Instead, use this time to be productive. Take a break if you need to, totally allowing yourself to rest, rather than idly doing something that is wasting time. Be mindful of what you are doing and put your time into whatever it is that is productive.

2.  Speed up your momentum for success

You’ve got to use the power of leverage. If possible, have people make money for you. Have your money make more money for you. One of the things I do to leverage my time is to invest in real estate and have somebody else pay the mortgages. Time is going to go buy anyway, so I am using time and other people’s money as leverage. Most often real estate will keep up with inflation.

Study ways to make money grow. It is surprising how a little knowledge here and there about money and gaining wealth makes money grow. For example, a simple concept such as taking the money you waist and investing it into a stock that is growing, will speed your momentum for financial growth. Just being mindful of where your money is going and putting it in the right places is paramount to speed up your financial growth.

3.  Get yourself in the right mind set as soon as you wake up

As soon as you wake up, practice an attitude of gratitude. Focus on ten things you are grateful for in the morning. Look at what you do have and focus on what you are grateful for. The reason for this is that the more grateful you are the more you are able to see opportunities and possibilities to gain more wealth. This in turn will make you happy and the cycle continues.

Also, as soon as you wake up, read your life’s vision and goals. This will set you on the path to gain wealth and everything else you want in your life. At night, make sure your mind is processing your ultimate life’s vision. All you have to do is think about what you want right before you go to sleep.

4. Know that you can

My great grandma Julia used to tell me “we are our own worst enemy”. What she meant was our own mind can either make us or break us. How we think, whether we can or can not, we are right. A lot of what we think about is in our subconscious mind; that is why it is important to always be weeding out negativity, discouragement and frustration when it comes into our consciousness. Thoughts like “I can’t do this” or any thoughts that stop us from pursuing our dreams must continuously be weeded out.

How I weed out discouraging thoughts is read positive books, listen to personal development CD’s, watch excellent teachings about God and the bible on TV, meditate, pray, and practice self -hypnosis tapes. I surround myself with positive people, take various classes on what I want to learn and I have my own personal coaches to help me reach my goals.

5.  Keep your health. Always work on being healthy.

You can have all the money in the world but if you do not have your health you’ll not be happy. Too many people spend their youth and their health on making money only to spend all their money in later years to get back their health. That does not sound too fun. Instead, work on your health and fitness everyday all the time.

Practicing the discipline of working on your health is by itself like a full time job for most of us. There is so much to do in taking care of our own selves, such as making a healthy menu, food shopping, washing and chopping vegetables, cooking, taking a shower or bath, going to the spa, getting your hair done, putting on make up (for those of you who wear makeup), shaving, exercising, walking, taking care of your clothes, and the list goes on.

The bottom line is that you will need your energy to gain wealth and being healthy gives you energy.

6.  Keep educated about investing your money

You want your money to work for you, but you may not know what to do. Go to a few different financial advisers and see what they would do. Go to seminars about investing money. Read what the bible says about investing money.

I was surprised to learn that women in bible days bought land, hired people to grow a vineyard and made money. I was surprised to learn that we are to use our talents to make money. People who waste their talents will not have anything at the end of their lives. We have to use what we’ve got. The bible says to use our money to make more money and put our money in different places. It says that you do not know which area or investment will profit and which one won’t. That is very interesting to me; instead we are to “cast our bread upon the water”, which means put our money in many different places.

There are also spiritual laws for making money, such as giving to receive and tithing 10% of our money. There are seasons to plant and seasons to harvest. There are so many analogies of gaining wealth in the bible, that it could take a whole year to research.

7.  Invest in real estate and/or if you have real estate, keep your real estate up

Be very wise when investing in real estate. Location is everything. Do your homework and if an investment will make you money then purchase it if you can. If the investment will lose you money, then don’t purchase it.  Once you have real estate, keep it up. So many people buy real estate and let it go down the tubes. They don’t put in the energy and effort needed to keep the real estate in good condition. You don’t want to lose value, you want to gain value. Also, if a renter is not working out and/or damaging your property, it is imperative that you get rid of this person. Take a small loss if you have to, rather than a big one by keeping someone who is not working out around.

Also, wisdom and experience has taught me not to invest with people who are heavy drinkers or into any narcotics. This may sound obvious, but it’s worth mentioning. If you are in partnership with someone, or purchasing foreclosure properties, just like picking the right location, choose wisely the right people you want to work with.

In finance terms, investment involves the purchasing of securities or assets in money markets with the hope of getting monetary returns through future cash flow.

When used in business management parlance, investment generally refers to the purchase of assets (technology, machinery, patents etc.) to develop positive income.

The basic principles here apply to each blogger, webmaster or online entrepreneur; To be successful, you need to invest and reinvest time and money on positive online assets and monitor costs/profits, while planning ahead.

Take a quick look at all your websites or online businesses to see if each of them are profitable. Are they bringing in more money than they cost in terms of time and expenses? What is their projected income?

If you’re primarily trying to earn a living online, there is no point in owning websites which do not make money. Consider cutting your losses and recovering your invested expenditures by selling or giving these sites to others.

20 Money Making Principles to Follow: A Thought Exercise

I’ll just like to supplement that by linking to a recent CNN article with a list of 20 Timeless Money Rules.

The article largely focuses on financial investments but there are some general principles which I found useful. Instead of giving you my version of the 20 money rules, I’ll suggest reading them yourself for some mental exercise.

Here’s what you can do while reading the article:

• Try to connect the dots between the principles you read and how you currently manage your assets. Learn how to extract the underlying essence from any information you come across online and you will naturally create insightful content that is yours.
• Make the article relevant to you by introspectively reflecting on your personal habits when it comes to making or spending money. Personalizing information you read is of the best ways to absorb or understand it.
• Put into practice the principles you can immediately use for your own website or personal life. Take away something you can act upon after reading the article. This makes information useful and not just clutter in your brain.

It’s refreshing to step outside of the usual webmaster/entrepreneur mindset and investing is an excellent parallel discipline that will give you insights on how to better develop your online business or sites.

How do you link to other sites? To be honest, I have not been doing this systematically or purposely, but I am now going to start. All you have to do is make one to five comments per day on other people’s blogs in your niche, (which mine for example is Internet marketing), and have a link directed back to your site.

These blog comments must be legitimate. I love to read about making money and earning money on line, so it is no problem for me to add a comment. If you want to find blogs to add comments to, just go to Google.com and put in your niche. After your niche, you can put + comments in and you will find blogs to comment in.

It is imperative that we get traffic to our blogs. Every day tens of thousands of new blogs are created. Competition is getting more fierce and many blogs will be weeded out. Blog every day and also get back links to your site.

CREATE

This is the time to create our own thing, our own product, our own video, our own e-book, our own article or our own blog post. Remember, you have everything you need inside of you already to create what you need and want you want in your life. You have it within yourself to grow rich in all areas of your life, including financially.

In this day and age many people are out of work. Money may not be circulating around as easily as it was before. People are skeptical of every promise out there that asks them for money to gain wealth. I say “just start”. You will know what you need to buy as you go.

It’s just like building a house. Once you have the plans laid out, you buy the materials that you need. You build as you go. You hire who you need to hire depending on the expertise you need. For example, you may need a professional gas fitter to hook up your gas fire place and your gas stove. Same as in internet marketing. You may need a professional web designer to build you a web site.

Anyway, thank you for reading and just start creating today. You can do it one little step at a time and with perseverance gain a quantum leap in your on line internet marketing business.

1)  Find out where my finances are right now:  assets and liabilities.

2)  Find ways to eliminate debt. Do I have immediate debt to pay off?

3)  Go to work if I have a job and if I need a job find work.

4)  No matter if I’m working or not, start a business on the side. If I’m working a side business will help me gain back some tax money because of expenses. If I’m not working and need income, then I need to get a job, even if it’s temporary.

5)  Set up a monthly budget for expenses coming in and income coming in. If possible, put away savings–even if it is a little bit. Remember, small amounts add up over time, whether that be for savings (+) or for debt (-). Once I know my monthly expenses see if I can balance my budget with my monthly income, including putting some aside for savings or investments.

6)  Continue to increase my education. I believe we should always be learning something–specifically marketable skills. If you are in business, what course can you take to increase your skills? What course(s) can you take to make yourself more competitive in the market?

7)  Always work on health and  fitness goals. “What does health and fitness have to do with growing rich?” you might ask. Good question. Health and fitness has everything to do with growing rich. I believe having good health and fitness gives people increased energy, a creative mind, and overall enjoyment in life. Studies have shown that good looking people make more money than people who don’t take care of themselves.

8)  Everyone should be attempting to market something. Find a niche that suits you and start learning how to market it. For some, selling will come naturally, for most people it is an acquired skill that we have to learn. No matter where you are at, why it is important to be in the market place is because this whole world is based on buying and selling. If you can’t beat them, join them. No use always giving your money to someone for something. Start acquiring money from others for something. My advice is to keep it legitimate and above board.

9)  Invest your money. We have all heard of investing our money, but a lot of people still don’t know what that means nor do they invest. Why is that? Invest your money simply means to allow your money to work for you over time and to allow your money to grow. All you need to do is go to a financial adviser that you trust, perhaps from your bank, and learn what they have to offer. Go to 3 different financial advisers before you make a decision on how and what to invest in. Always follow your intuition on investing. If you have a “check” in your spirit about an investment, don’t do it. If everything sounds sound and wise and you feel really good about it, then invest. Believe it or not, our mind, feelings and intuition can lead us to what is a good investment or not. Follow that.

10)  Don’t expect to grow rich overnight or to win the lottery. The proverbs say that gathering a little at a time is a good way to grow rich. This concept of gathering a little money everyday and putting it into an investment that also grows a little at a time, almost always grows money without fail. Sometimes people don’t gather a little money at a time because they think it’s too minuscule and won’t amount to anything–so why bother. Most of us want the big payday–the big ship to come in. Nonetheless, I will take the advice from the bible and gather money a little at a time, investing where and what I can, whether that be in real estate or stocks (retirement funds, mutual funds, etc) and take the longer road to acquiring wealth. I like to feel secure and confident on the sure bet rather than hoping on the elusive ship that may never come in.
